Nigg Skills Academy has confirmed their 100th trainee to be Teresa Jose
Teresa is part of the 33 strong intake that joined NSA in February and is one of two female trainees enrolled in the 16 week intensive training Modern Apprenticeship in Fabrication and Welding scheme to date.
Teresa is 25 years old and before joining NSA had spent some time working in retail. She commented, "I am thrilled to be the 100th trainee going through Nigg Skills Academy. I am really enjoying the course – it is giving me a great insight into the energy industry and I am looking forward to gaining my level 3 qualification in fabrication and going into work for the Group."
Nigg Skills Academy continues to train fabricators, pipefitters and welders for the energy industry and in their first year they will have put some 105 trainees through the 16 week intensive course and will have also trained and welder coded 40 people through the training for work scheme, which is run through the JobCentre Plus.
