4-week Work Ready Access Course
Nigg Skills Academy will be running a new short 4-week course on the Wednesday 27th September.
The 4-week Work Ready Access Course will consist of the following:
Nationally recognised NPORS training and the following cards:
- Site Safety
- CSCS Card
- Abrasive Wheels
- Fire Warden
In addition, they will complete some fabrication and welding projects to get an introduction into fab/weld work which will have an in-house certificate.
The course could be fully funded depending on individual circumstances and it is hoped the skills gained will assist those move forward into finding employment or into Further Education by progressing directly into our innovative 8-week Access to Engineering course running at the end of October.
All PPE will be provided.
Transport from Inverness could be available, picking up along the A9.
