We’ve been out and about at the DYW Inverness & Central Highland Inspiring Young Minds - Career Events at Inverness Royal Academy and Culloden Academy.

Our seconded member of staff from DWP, Jobcentre Plus Laura MacMillan and the Academy’s Business Development and Supporting Technician Ali Kennedy were discussing everything engineering with the students and seeing if any wanted to follow a career path into engineering.

With 600 students at Inverness Royal Academy and 400 at Culloden it was a very busy couple of days with many showing a real interest in what Nigg Skills Academy has to offer in the way of qualifications.

A great event put on by the DYW and hopefully some of those showing interest will look to come to us in the future.
